Living Beyond Lymphoma support group - July 7
An ongoing monthly support group for lymphoma survivors and their caregivers will meet at Baptist Hospital East from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.
This group provides survivors and their caregivers with information, interaction, encouragement and support through treatment and recovery. Led by specially trained professionals, each session allows for sharing experiences as the survivors learn about their disease and how to care for themselves.
Facilitators are Social Worker Carol Holland and Nurse Practitioners Laura Ford and Katie Mitchell.
The group is open to diagnosed lymphoma survivors and their caregivers or loved ones. Other special sessions may be included as the group desires.
The group will meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Baptist Hospital East Cancer Resource Center, 4007 Kresge Way, on the first floor. Free parking is available.
Lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects cells of the immune system.
This support group is free. For more information, contact Carol Holland at (502) 897-1166 or Debby Phillips at (502) 719-0542.
