Code H is a help-line for patients and families



Visiting a patient? Caring for a loved one? You could help them in a time of need.

Patient caregivers, visitors or the patients themselves need to understand Code H (which stands for “Help”). Code H provides a hotline for hospital patients, family members and visitors.

If you see a noticeable, clinical change in the patient and the healthcare team is not present or is not responding to the patient’s or visitor’s concerns, or if there is a breakdown in how care is being managed, you can call the Code H hotline at extension 4444 from a hospital phone to request immediate help from a clinical team.

Provide your name, your concern and the room number. From an outside line, call 259-4444.
