The graph below illustrates responses to the following Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) question:

2. Treated with respect by physicians

The question reads “During this hospital stay, how often did doctors treat you with courtesy and respect?” The possible answers are “Never,” “Sometimes,” “Usually” and “Always.”

The score is defined as the percent of patients who answer “Always.” In the graph below 85% of the patients surveyed in Quarter 4 answered “Always.”
